There are many spokes in the wheel that keeps the Chamber moving forward, but the most important spoke, by far, is the membership. The membership has consistently grown to the present number of nearly 500 members.
Over the decades one constant has been the importance and anticipation of the Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting. This much prioritized event serves as an educational, informational and entertaining climax to each year’s programs and activities. It is generally held in April. The highlight of the meeting is the presentation of awards in several different categories such as: Community Serve, Ambassador, Emerging Business, Spirit of the Juniata River Valley, Pride and Service Above Self.
The Chamber seeks out guest speakers who bring their business related stories to the membership, often announcing exciting projects or changes in their industry.
